The General Membership Meeting of the PPBA will be Wednesday, December 21 beginning at 6:00 pm.
This festive holiday dinner will be catered by Kelly’s Catering. Everyone is asked to bring a gift to exchange. Everyone will get a free ticket and go home with a gift. Bring anything… a lottery ticket, baked goods, a plant, a funny gift, or anything else! Be creative! (And don’t forget the fruitcake…you know who you are)

There is a new website dedicated to Cullen Park! You’ll find all sorts of great information about Point Place’s Cullen park at cullenpark.org.
We’re on a mission to make Cullen Park a better place for all of us! Join us on Wednesday, November 30 at 6:30 pm for our Visions of Cullen Park meeting. The meeting is at CrossPoint Community Church, 4212 Onondaga Avenue in Point Place.
The November PPBA Dinner Meeting will be Wednesday, November 16th. We will be having turkey dinner with all the trimmings, catered by Kelly’s Catering. It will be held at Ottawa River Yacht Club. November is Election Time for 2012 PPBA Officers, Board and Foundations. Nominations are open. If you are interested in holding an office, contact Secretary – Tom Stagner @ 419-727-9001 or email tom51@buckeye-express.com.
The proceeds of the November Raffle will go to Mustard Seed, a feed your neighbor program in the Point Place Community. Bring a donation of a raffle prize to the meeting.
We are also taking a collection of canned goods and non-perishable food items for Mustard Seed. Anyone who brings a donation to the November meeting will get 1 free raffle ticket.
Members of the community can also donate canned goods or non-perishable items by dropping them off at Flags Sales & Service or Friendship Park Community Center by Friday, November 18, 2011.
Point Place hosts one of the largest and best parade in the area. There are also many other activities all through the month of June. Help keep this great tradition going by joining us for an organizational meeting tonight. The meeting is at the VFW, located at 5416 North Summit Street in Point Place.
The meeting will be in the back meeting room at 7 pm. All ARE WELCOME. Your input is appreciated, and your help is needed.


Everyone is invited to the PPBA’s annual Meet the Candidates Forum on Wednesday, October 19 at 7:15 pm at the Friendship Center. This is a service to the Point Place and Shoreland community. All Toledo and Washington Township residents are welcome and encouraged to attend!
Candidates from the various races in our area have been invited to come and share their thoughts. In addition, supporters of various issues have been invited to speak to those issues.
Friendship Center will be selling refreshments. Come and be a part of this informative community event!
Our next general meeting takes place on Wednesday, October 19 at the Friendship Center. This will be a special meeting, where we will host a Candidates’ Forum so the community can prepare for the elections in November.
Our meeting will begin at 6:00 pm with dinner and a short meeting.
The Candidates’ Forum will begin at 7:30 pm. We have invited candidates from the Toledo City Council District 6 race, Washington Township, Washington Local, and Toledo Public School races, and judge. Speakers for ballot issues have also been invited.
The public is welcome for this forum.
